Is there a best time to post on Snapchat Spotlight? Not for the typical video. Hashtags help a little.
We compared 1.3 million Spotlight posts with each creator's own usual result: the hour and day of posting went with differences of a few percent in a typical video's views, and posts with hashtags got about 6% to 17% more, far less than a raw comparison suggests.

The typical long Snapchat Spotlight video gets more views. The viral hits run 10 to 30 seconds.
We compared 1,279,794 Spotlight videos from 86,737 creators by length: median views rise with length, most of all for creators with 10K to 100K subscribers, but 10 to 30 second clips are the likeliest to reach the top 1%.
